<p>At least every other open world game takes place in the US. That's boring. Besides, it's not like Avalanche Studios would make a game where the player would blow things up in the US and topple the dictatorship government.

<p>North America doesn't necessarily have to mean the US. </p><p>I do agree that Africa has potential, but Eastern Europe seems a less obvious choice IMHO. Wikipedia lists 86 video games set in Africa, but only 82 set in Europe of which most are set in Western Europe. </p>

</p><p>Hm... a dictatorship in east Europe... That could only be Belarus, but knowing this game series, they'd only use fictional nations. The thing about fictional nations is that unless you want it to exist on the territory of a real nation, it will have to be in the sea.
