<p>Are you kidding me? </p><p>Those Mechs aren't so tough! </p><p>Tips: Use explosive secondary weapons like the UVK-13. In a duel, the CS Odjur is capable of easily defeating a Mech if you can get one, and the Black Hand have plenty. </p><p>The Grappler never fails, you can grapple a Mech into explosives and shoot them, grapple it off a cliff, grapple it away from you, or grapple it up a wall and drop it until it's destroyed. </p><p>I've done all of these and they all work. The Odjur is the most effective, and the Secondary weapon is the best against more than one Mech. </p>

<p>Nothing can touch water save for boats </p><p>And yes mechs can have shields through certain upgrades </p>

<p>The mechs have shields the average IBT pilot would kill for, they keep working, they're not on a timer though I'm not sure if they recharge, I haven't had even the level 1 discharged significantly. </p><p>Given I don't usually carry explosives outside grenades and my GE-64 mechs can pose a threat briefly. The power core given you can only carry a couple of shots can help level the playing field but means ditching my "Final Argument", which is just not happening usually (ok I admit I switched to the M488 to deal with the "anti aircraft", because the alternative was trying to sneak around and snare turrets so they pointed away, the only other time I've used any of the FOWs was again the M488, versus our newest former dictator. </p><p>Coincidentally you can reoppress Lacrima, but still not the eDEN airship or digsites. </p>
