<p>The standard of life is probably similar to France or Spain, due to Bavarium. The nation's biggest problems are police brutality, corruption (read the ambulance's description) and maybe most importantly, the civil war and rationing caused by it. </p>

<p>Also, I suppose that the life quality tanked down after the war, as Bavarium is not going to be mined, and is soon gonna fall to the level of places like Ukraine or Azerbaijan or Venezuela. There might even be another war, because at some point, somebody will want to mine Bavarium and that somebody will get a group of like-minded people and start another war. </p>

<p>And those are my speculations in living standards for each class: </p><p>Upper class: people who got rich in the Bavarium boom. They can afford expensive cars (Autostraad and Mugello) and live in new houses and aparments, which might be pretty expensive. Probably 5% or so of the population. </p><p>Middle class: normal people with office or governmental jobs. They buy new or lightly used Strias and have modern gadgets (smartphones etc.), but cannot afford new houses/apartments due to a price bubble and live in old houses or large apartments. Around 35-55% of the population. </p><p>Lower class: people with menial jobs and unemployed. They cannot afford modern gadgets, can barely afford an used Stria or Weltbus and live in small, old apartments. Ca. 40.-60% of the population. </p>

<p>There can't be unemployment in a totalitarian nation. Anyone unemployed would probably end up in the military, or at some state-run construction work. This reminds me that the in-game map info for one of the north-east outposts at Insula Striate says that a large percentage of Medicis young men are in the army. I'm guessing both the Panau Military and Medici Military must have conscription. San Esperito Military is definitely volunteers and/or payed soldiers. </p>

All armed forces consist of many types of units. It's never 100% the same thing. I meant the vast majority of soldiers.

<p>Actually, I miscalculated the social class statistics. A reconsideration made me think that about 73% Medicians are lower-class, about 20% are middle-class and about 7% are upper-class. </p>

<p>Their biggest problem is probably the indestuctable man made out of titanium that has a weaponized wingsuit and also has regeneration like the Wolverine's going around and destroying the country (doesnt matter if its during or after the civil war). </p>

<p>Talking about social classes, here is a percentage of them by different areas: </p><p>Countryside: about 87% lower-class, 12% middle-class and less than 1% upper-class </p><p>Small town: about 84% lower-class, 15% middle-class and less than 1% upper-class </p><p>Large city (Citate di Ravello): about 12.5% lower-class, 54% middle-class and 33.5% upper-class. </p>
