- Just Cause 4 Volosia development thread.
- Just Cause 4 Karthstan development thread.
- Extended rebel support.
- Just Cause Unity/Budgey Islands development thread.
- Just cause 4 Alzma ideas.
- I think there more, but I can't find them right away. (This is one of the reasons why wikia/fandom wants to replace forums.)
- This would allow fiction content, like vehicles, locations, missions to have their own articles.
- Articles could be sorted into categories by development project as well as by vehicle/location/mission/...
- It has multiple times been announced by wikia/fandom owners that they're planing on closing the "forums" feature to have it replaced by an allegedly better programmed "discussions" feature. This would not delete current forums. All threads would be automatically moved into "discussions", but it's highly doubtable that that feature would be better than a separate Just Cause FF wiki.
- That wiki would not compete with this wiki. That means anyone who ends up running that wiki could feel free to link to any articles here with out it seeming like "steeling content". Numerous links to this wiki would also eliminate the need to have duplicate articles for certain subjects and eliminate the possibility of the wikis becoming competitors in the future if more people with different opinions would join there.
- As an admin here, I know all about how much time and effort it takes to maintain a wiki and I don't think most of the fiction developers are up to that. Unless they'll post below and claim otherwise.
- Depending on the amount of available time, admins from this wiki might be able to help with technical issues, if asked.
- It would need more than one admin to minimize risks from reliance on only 1 person.
- Not possible to use internal links to articles in this wiki. That just means you'd have to use external links, like the links to wikipedia that we often use here.
- Not possible to use pictures from other wikis (including this one), with out having to download them and reuploading them there.
- It would definitely get less viewers, but at the same time, it could easily become quite popular, similarly to how our Just Cause 3 Wishlist became quite popular in its time. There's no way to tell in advance.
- There's probably more problems than that. Feel free to discuss below.
It's very important to have a name for the wiki that makes it clear what it is. I propose "Just Cause Fan Fiction" that could be shortened as "Just Cause FF" (or "JCFF", or "JC FF") where needed. Mentioning "fan fiction" right in the name would eliminate any sort of confusion and arguments over what the wiki should try to do/be. </p>
