Thanks to these new funds, we hope to be opening new research departments into some potentially profitable new fields: renewable energy sources, nano biology, robotics, maybe even artificial intelligence."

These mechanized eDEN Corporation helpers, or “Mechs”, seem to have a lot of untapped potential. Again, The Agency is adamant about us investigating the possibility of weaponizing them. The ethical implications have caused a lot of uproar among employees, which I understand. But I have made the pragmatic choice. No science can exist without business, it’s a harsh truth that the white coats fail to accept."
That means today is 36 years since first meeting of Eden with Black Hand and 33 years since the first Mech was created!
<p>i'm wondering if there's a connection between the work that the EDEN Corporation did and Project Illapa. they were both working towards very similar goals (weather control), so i'm speculating that at least some of the scientists working for the EDEN Corporation ended up working on Project Illapa after EDEN went bust. i know that it's widely accepted that at the same time that the EDEN A.I. went postal and killed everyone on the airship that it also killed everyone on Lacrima. i don't buy it. lacrima is mostly open EDEN was supposed to have killed everyone by locking them inside and lowering room temperatures so everyone froze to death.... i find that a bit hard to believe in regards to Lacrima as i reckon at least a few people were outside either survived the massacre, or just simply unlocked all the buildings and let everyone escape (the distinct lack of corpses in the EDEN stations on Lacrima is kind of a dead giveaway for me). i speculate that at least some people on Lacrima escaped and were captured by the Black Hand to work on Project Illapa. the Black Hand already had a presence on Lacrima, leasing a few installations. what i think went down was 1. EDEN killed everyone on the airship but failed to kill everyone on Lacrima. 2. the surviving EDEN employees and thier families were then kidnapped by the Black Hand under orders from Oscar Espinosa to work on the Illapa Project. 3. the Black Hand started poking around the Stingray installation to gather intel for thier Work at Zona Dos (both Stingray and Zona Dos were working on experiments involving lightning). then again this is just a theory. (on a footnote i think Square Enix missed a trick and should have had Eden Callaghan as an easter egg in Just Cause 4, maybe inside one of the cells in La Mazmorra).

<p>Is it because the Black Hand want to take over Eden's research and technologies like the Brother Hood of Steel from Fallout 4 or did their alliance end and did they declare war on each other? If you go to an Eden base on Insula Lacrima and stay out of the combat zone you can sometimes see Black Hand mechs and tanks attacking Eden's weapons as well as drones. Eden's superweapons and drones also return fire on the Black Hand forces if they don't see you. I have seen several occasions of Black Hand and Eden forces directly fighting each other I've also seen Black Hand drones get shot at by Eden weapons. So the question is why are they doing it?

Wouldnt the world react if a Mega Corporation (that turns out that its being run by a computer )started attacking <i>an entire nation</i> and that it could go on to attack <i>other</i> countries?<figure class="article-thumb tright show-info-icon" style="width: 400px">

<p>We know about the Eden Fortress right? Ofcourse we do. We do not know much about EDEN though. So I got confused when I saw a character lookalike in the gallery for jc3, and the character is from jc2. She looks like Maria Kane from jc2's casino bust mission. In the achievments for jc3 the Sky Fortress achievements are already here, it says in the description "Defeat the 'Old Friend' at the end of the Sky Fortress expansion" grouped with that same Maria Kane lookallike in the gallery, does this mean between jc2 and jc3, Maria Kane quit the agency, made her own coorperation, and is trying to get Medici's beloved Barvarium? Please tell me your thoughts.

</p><p>By now I've seen a gameplay video that revealed that Eden is suppose to be spelled as "eDEN". This means that the company name is an abbreviation for something. Previously I thought that maybe her name is Eden and she owns the company and named it after herself. The first letter probably stands for "electronic". So what kind of a woman could say "My Name is Eden" in that context?
