Back when I played Just Cause on my Windows XP a serene, calming musical track would kick in as soon as you jumped out of a plane or helicopter at any particularly high altitude. I think it's been about 7 years ago now since that playthrough...?

I no longer have the exact copy I played back then. I've since installed 3 different versions of it on my Windows 7 at this point, including the Steam version and a Polish localization, and that music seems to be missing on all of them.

Most people say it didn't play during freefall until the 360 version, and I checked and saw it was missing in the PS2 version too, but I know with absolute 2000% certainty that it was on the PC. I was so in love with the music that I went through the trouble of ripping it from the game's files myself. I named it "Freefalling.mp3" and everything!

If it was just a modded version I somehow stumbled upon, I feel like I would've found it by now...

Is it a problem with modern machines, or an issue with playing the game without a CD (as is the case in the Steam release)? And if these are not the issue... where is this track on PC's? Why can I not find it anywhere? And what the hell did I play all that time ago...???

If anyone has ANY kind of answer, PLEASE let me know. I'd be eternally grateful!
