As could be expected, our cutting-edge technology advances have been drawing interest. Several private hedge funds have contacted us: among others, a very generous benefactor from an organization somewhere in South America. Thanks to these new funds, we hope to be opening new research departments into some potentially profitable new fields: renewable energy sources, nano biology, robotics, maybe even artificial intelligence."

"May 23rd, 1988. Our engineers have created heavy-duty Loaders which allow us to support our growth and build new facilities much more efficiently. These mechanized eDEN Corporation helpers, or “Mechs”, seem to have a lot of untapped potential. Again, The Agency is adamant about us investigating the possibility of weaponizing them. The ethical implications have caused a lot of uproar among employees, which I understand. But I have made the pragmatic choice. No science can exist without business, it’s a harsh truth that the white coats fail to accept."

That means today is 36 years since first meeting of Eden with Black Hand and 33 years since the first Mech was created!

Rico Rodriguez the Time Traveller

I've got an idea about untold Just Cause story that took place in a period between 2009 and 2015

Let's imagine: It's 2012. It's been 3 years since Rico's mayhem in Panau. The country is now US-friendly and all problems with oil there are solved. But it's not about Panau. Long story short, the Agency scientists created a time portal using stolen eDEN technologies. At one night, some madman from Black Hand infiltrates in the Agency base to use the portal for an unknown reason (unknown yet). He activates it and teleports into 1776 where he starts to help Great Britain in their war against American colonies (future United States) by selling them future technologies. This leads to catastrophic aftermath, timeline when United States weren't formed. Before completely being erased in a time-substitution, the Agency sends a group of high ranking Agents including Rico Rodriguez, Maria Kane, Emerson Miller and some other Agents that we saw in Danger Rising DLC. Tom Sheldon couldn't appear there because it would ruin Rico's phrase at the beginning cutscene of JC3 ("Nothing changed since Panau, Sheldon?").

So, this is basically a game about American Revolution, where Rico and the gang correct timeline and form United States. It's an open world, but this time it's not a massive big island, but many maps of different US East Coast locations and some UK locations. No futuristic weapons (just not to create time paradoxes) and by that I mean no assault rifles, shotguns, SMGs, pistols, sniper rifles and etc. But! Grappling hook and parachute would exist. It is at this moment Rico and Maria "disconnect" from each other, Rico grows his iconic beard, starts wearing red and blue clothes (that double denim style from JC3 is American revolution's influence on him) and becomes more polite and kind. This is also a good chance to "test some Agency genetic engineering programs, allowing Rico to recover his health in a few seconds and upgrading his stamina".

The 3 storyline-DLCs would be about 1812 war, American Civil War (Rico teleports into 1860s) and Wild West (Rico is on the West Coast now, with deserts, hats, cowboys, showdowns and outlaws + he also meets Sheldon's grandparents)

I love history and time travel, and I realize how absurd the idea looks. But what's your opinion, guys? Could it potentionally be a thing?

Official (?) date of first Just Cause 4 mission

As you know, the official Just Cause 4 website has a section called "Map", which has not only a full-sized Solino map but also some intercepted radio signals. In one of them, we can hear Gabriela Morales' speech about Rico Rodriguez and her order to Black Hand from the beginning cutscenes of Operation Whiteout. The date below shows us the ETA of this transmission: September 25th, 2018, the early morning. That means that this is the date of the first Just Cause 4 mission 'Operation Whiteout'. But a lot of questions appear. Why does Mugello Vistosa have 2019 in its name? Why is there a Prisa Avispa C that would be created only in 2023 (in real life)? How long was 'Scorpion's Revenge' filming? (Garland King movie, not a Mortal Kombat 2020 animated movie). Also, this is a hidden easter egg, because September 25th is the date when Just Cause 1 was published (at least in Russia).

What do you think about it? Should this be added to the article of Just Cause timeline? Let's talk.

Burning of the North

I’m pretty sure the burning of the North and and the “Night of the Bonfires” are the same thing? From the many blurbs of rebel and civilian dialogue I’ve heard while just walking around, it seems pretty clear that the Night of the Bonfires was the first night or the initiation of the Burning of the North. I don’t think they should be separate pages. Also it’s pretty clear that the North was burned to get civilians out of the way of Bavarium mining, so I don’t know why “volcanic eruption” is even on the theory page. And, to address another theory, only elderly men say they were a paratrooper in “the war.” so that’s obviously World War II, as the elderly are too old to have fought recently. Also, the “my family had a vineyard but it was burned” dialogue obviously means it was simply part of the mass inferno that took place in the North. Okay, wow I sound pretty preachy about all this haha. But just thoughts. I’m just very detail-oriented and stuff like this bothers me.

Does Bavarium Sea Heist events take place after The Shatterer of Worlds?

In the first mission Rico and Looch are talking about Dimah in a way that may suggest that she is dead. So does this DLC actually happens after Dimah's death, or maybe even after Di Ravello's death? Rico seems to be sad when he is talking about her.

The life of Medician citizens.

Welcome! As you all know, we play the game screwing around and somewhat helping the Rebellion as Rico Rodriguez. But I would like to see more theorized/official info about the life of normal Medicians. How big is the typical family? Where do people work? How much do they earn? How long do they live? What sort of problems do they face? Is the crime level and the income gaps large? How does the education look? Are there severe drug problems? and other questions of that kind. Post your theories and the official game info (if there is any).

Medici's Car Industry

Welcome! In this thread I would like to shkw you my speculations about the Medician car manufacturing. For starters, the brand I assume to be Medician is Stria. First, I would like to tell you the most important of my speculations about it - the Stria models we see are all models the brand had made. Now, let's talk about the brand's history itself. Stria had been possibly formed in the 50s and its first product was supposedly the Rustico. It was probably a government-formed brand made to spool the country's industry up. The first product was a tractor, because the government wanted to have farming mechanized and the imported tractors were too expensive (import costs and all) to be good for the task. Plus, selling tractors gives cash, yeah? It also was meant to produce affordable transport, which in my opinion was the M7. Yes, it is a motorcycle, but in the 50s motorcycle were common family vehicles. Then Stria had set on to motorize the average citizens and produce a work truck for the industry. The products of that were the Cucciola and Obrero. I believe their production started in the early 60s, but in my opinion they were not Medician designs - they were probably licensed versions of other countries' designs, most probably Italian, due to the lack of R&D cash. The Rustico was left unchanged, because no money and no need for a newer design. At about the same point, the Sussuro production started, as Medician families would have enough money to purchase a 2nd vehicle. This would be the moped. Late 60s/early 70s were the most probable start of the production of the Infimo S (and a possible lower-powered non-S version). The burgeoning population needed a more prestigious vehicle, so Stria bought a license for that compact saloon. Then Di Ravello took power. I guess that a replacement for the Rustico was being worked on, but the new government needed money for militarization, so the project was abandoned. Because of the lack of R&D funds, the replacements for all vehicles were put on hold and the Stria lineup ended up comprising of the M7, Rustico, Cucciola, Sussurro and Infimo. I think I need to break this up, as it will be long. This is the first of the series of posts. What do you think of that?

Timeline of the JC universe

Several character profiles in the JC2 PDA have birth dates, the games take place at their release years, a couple of missions in JC1 have specific dates, at least one store in JC3 has a specific year it was founded in, several vehicle profiles in JC3 mention the decades of their construction and more. Even the Di Ravello tapes count days leading up to Ricos arrival in Medici, tho we don't actually know the date of Ricos arrival, because the game was advertised everywhere as launching on december 1, but Dubai still got it about a week early. Should we have an article for "Timeline of the Just Cause universe"? It would look similar to the Other countries in the Just Cause universe article, but every heading would be a year number, or specific date.
