<p>Isn't that the glitch that I found a year ago? Regardless, it's probably the most reliable way to get underground. </p><p>As for DLC requirements for the cube, I can assure you that it's not dependent on DLC. I found that cube before I owned any DLC, so that's unlikely. </p><p>And as for Boom Island, I again find that unlikely. Boom Island is used solely for gameplay when installing the game. Note that on Boom Island, there are no weapons, and only two vehicles. So I find this unlikely. </p><p>Though I do like the idea of character storage while their on the radio. Fallout New Vegas did this. During the epilogue of that game, Ron Perlman will narrate that part, and he actually has a character called Ron the Narrator, so that might be a good explanation. </p>

<p>Continuous front flip? As in, you're flying level, you jam the control stick forward, and keep diving until you've performed a 360 degree loop? No, I don't believe I've tried that. Though I've had a SAM blow both the wings off of an Akrobat. </p><p>Have you ever tried an inverted flat spin in the Thunderhawk? It's so much fun. </p>

<p>Also, a bit off topic, but I tried grappling the cargo ramp to the #4 engine (the one on the far right). Like it said on the page for the U41, it does indeed cause a very rapid spin. However, it seems that standard spin recovery techniques don't necessarily work all the time. </p><p>The standard procedure is usually called the PARE technique (Power idle, Ailerons neutral, Rudder opposite the spin and held, and Elevator through neutral). However this doesn't seem to work, which is odd because the aerodynamics of a spin wouldn't blanket the airflow over the rudders on a tail arrangement like the U41's. </p><p>After a bit of research and trial and error, it seems that the most effective recovery method in my tests is the military standard, which has the pilot negating use of the rudder and instead rolling the plane into the direction of the spin. </p><p>Do try this out yourself, and tell me your thoughts/experience in correcting a spin with this behemoth. </p>

<p>I see it this way. For heavy metal land assault vehicles, i.e. Tanks, treads (tracks) are the preferred item. You simply can't fit 80+ tons of armor and weapons on tires. </p><p>However, wheels are excellent for vehicles like the Bradley IFV and Stryker. Anything smaller than an IFV, wheels are great for, especially in an urban environment. But in a theater like Operation Desert Storm, treads are superior. </p><p>So yes, like you said, they each have their own benefits and drawbacks. </p><p>I personally think that half-tracks are really cool vehicles. They were used quite extensively in WWII. But after that, their use declined for more dedicated platforms. </p>

<p>@GMRE By the plane vs. carrier comment, I was talking about the Urga Mstitel against the eDEN Airship. I thought it'd be a one way fight in my favor when I flew to their base, but I couldn't be more wrong. Those drones just keep swarming you. </p><p>And as for the shields being useless, I was talking about the fact that Di Ravello invested so much money into his Bavarium Shield technology, only to turn around and create The Thunderbird, a natural shield killer. The Thunderbird is to the IBT like the Plasma Pistol is to Master Chief's Mjolnir Armor. If he just created the IBT and Urga Mstitel, yes it would be worth trillions. But since Rico and henceforth the Agency now assumingly have working examples of the Thunderbird, those vehicles are useless. The weapons are worth more than the shields in my eye. </p><p>As for a fighter jet, Di Ravello's military can't really engage in long range strikes along the Mediterranean coast. Let's not forget that presumably their only aircraft carrier is a rusted out wreck in Grotta Contrabandero. They can't exactly leave the island for extended periods of time in the helicopters without a carrier. The biggest ships they have are the Corvettes. And from experience, you can really only fit an Urga Racek and an Urga Postolka. Not exactly a match for the Western World helicopters. </p><p>Tanks aren't useless. Just one with two turrets and wheels instead of treads. The turrets suck because you will always have to correct the misalignment between the two barrels when in combat. Plus the extra weight of the extra barrel could have been put into more shells. And anyone with half a brain can figure out why tires are a bad idea. A few armor piercing rounds will take it right out. </p>

<p>Yeah, but put it this way. What's more powerful? A lone F/A-18E, or the USS Ronald Reagan carrying 95 F/A-18's and F-35's? Those Bavarium shields are only gonna go so far. Sooner or later, they'll be caught with their shields recharging. </p><p>Also, helicopters are only effective for point defense and short range missions. The Apaches used in Desert Storm only had a range of 250-400 miles. Unless Medici invests in a Bavarium shielded fighter jet, the shield tech is really just a novelty. </p>

<p>Let's also remember that the eDEN Airship contains highly purified, refined, and potent stores of Bavarium that's far superior to Di Ravello's reserves. They can keep a Helicarrier flying with it. The best the Medican military can do is put shields on vehicles and make a mini nuke launcher. </p>

<p>That's correct, <i>but</i>, now that Rico has effectively eliminated the eDEN airship, there's nothing left on it worth the effort. Also, if eDEN has a repository of Bavarium knowledge, then the Black Hand should attack the eDEN Airship, not Medici. And if that were the case, we'd have two "Air" DLCs. The "Sea" DLC wouldn't make sense. </p><p>True, but how would you go about capturing a Drone? I tried myself, and they explode at the slightest nudge with the ground. It's almost like they have a built in failsafe. </p>

<p>The fact that the DLC is called the Bavarium Sea Heist. Unless they plan on using SCUBA divers, the only way they're getting Bavarium is with drilling or ROV's. </p><p>This would be true, if it weren't for the fact that Rico and Dimah destroyed all of her research on Bavarium when they destroyed Falco Maxime. Without those secrets and tech, Bavarium is just a pretty blue rock. </p>

<p>@176.27.212.46 They were killed by Rico at the Three Kings Hotel. The leaders of those countries would have to get involved. </p><p>@GMRE What motivation would they have exactly? There needs to be incentive for a mercenary group such as them to not only work alone, but build an offshore platform. Bavarium isn't that profitable to justify a <i>permanent</i> drilling platform. </p>

<p>Well, seeing as how the previous people Rico attacked (Di Ravello, eDEN Corporation) were former associates of Tom Sheldon, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it'll be another one. Though it'd be cool if it was the Black Hand. </p>

<p>@12th Planet I mostly frequent this talk page. It's basically a speculation page about the final DLC to hit Just Cause 3. Though I have contributed quite a lot to the Just Cause 3 Bugs and glitches page. Isn't that right Anon? </p><p>@Anonymous230385 You'd be correct. I've known him for over 3 years. I told him to find me here and see what he thought. </p><p>Also, can we drop the whole Atlantis debate? It's not really conducive to the subject at hand. </p>

<p>@CeriCat I actually saw a special on the the TV series "What on Earth" that actually places the city of Atlantis in Spain, at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, northwest of Cadiz. Apparently using ground penetrating radar, they've discovered what looks like concentric rings, with large depressions in between them, indicative of the layout of Atlantis. </p><p>This theory fits almost all of the criteria of Atlantis. 1)It's just beyond the Pillar of Hercules (the Rock of Gibraltar) 2)It's on a prominent part of European coastline, in a fairly powerful country at the time. 3)The fact that it's underground supports the "sinking of Atlantis" theory possibly being a tsunami. </p><p>So my bets are on this location. </p><p>@A230385 After playing Sky Fortress, I can see how this can be played out as a WMD scenario, at least for Medici. And to take another example from EndWar, a giant laser is a WMD in that game. And what is the eDEN Corporation's particle beam weapon if not a giant laser? </p>
