<p>Not the guy who said it originally, but, I think that Solís' settlements only are boring. They are always the same and you could not name them even after over 100 of playing, unless you spend a lot of time nearby. Also, the reason why OP said that Medici and Panau were better was probably because you could actually do something in the settlements unlike in Solís. The nature and scenery in Solís though is beautiful and the roads are really nice to drive down. </p>

<p>If I had to pick a place to live in all of the nations: </p><p>San Esperito: Don't know. Never seen Just Cause 1 gameplay. </p><p>Panau: Either in Panau City or in the countryside of either: East/west Tenah Reya or Panau Tengah Bay </p><p>Medici: Pretty much anywhere, but if I had to pick one place it would probably be one of the mansions in Citate Di Ravello or a country house in Sirocco. </p><p>Solís: Somewhere rural in the grasslands, because pretty much living in any other biome would suck due to the poverty there. </p>

<p>Best weapons:  </p><p>CS Predator. Overall a solid assault rifle. I use it, because I don't like the non-automatic weapons. </p><p>U-24 Zabijak. A surprise for many probably. It's got decent range and it can one-shot grunts. The only negative is the ammo, but since it uses shotgun ammo, you could just get the ammo from a weapon rack. </p><p>M488. It is a literal nuclear RPG. What else do I need to say. Oh yeah and it also uses RPG ammo, so refilling ammo is not a problem. </p><p>Worst weapons: </p><p>Automat U12. Uses ammo way too fast. Otherwise, it would be a decent gun. </p><p>U-55S Pozhar. Terrible damage. No point in using it, unless you want a challenge. </p><p>The Thunderbird. Kinda useless if you have the Mech land assault, since the Power Core is a straight upgrade from this. Only used this once like a year ago. It might have a lot of ammo, but it is not fun or satisfying to use. </p>

<p>I love both Solís and Medici, but IMHO Medici is way better due to the uniqueness of the towns and villages. In Medici no civilian settlement feels the exact same. However in Solís all towns in the grasslands feel the same, but in other regions this is not as big of a problem, but those regions aren't as nice to explore in terms of geography. I dont have JC1 or JC2 but from what I have seen JC2s map looks great. </p>

<p>The guy who killed Ricos mom is already a general in the Medician military and Rico already killed him in JC3.  </p>

<p>Medician, that seems to be a mix of Italian, Spanish and Romanian. There is an article for it here. </p>
