<p>Solis' wirbelwind ripoff was definitely in service by that point, considering it was seemingly being scrapped and rarely used before the events of the game. <p>It's barely possible for Medici to be running trains for troop transportation as well, considering we almost never see an NPC on a train despite the presence of vehicles, which raises another question. How the hell do those vehicles get on & off? Landing helicopters is hard enough on a ship, much less dropping a car on a train barrelling along 3x as fast as my 2 examples would be borderline impossible. </p>

<p>Yes & Sodor has talking trains but 1 gimmick doesn't take away from how boring a place might actually be. </p>

<p>The STRV 103 Gave over 30 years of service, could be operated by 1 man, was so accurate it could shoot its own shell hole from a kilometre away, is more OP in War Thunder than the King Tiger can ever hope to be in defence & can literally bow down to the Swedish kings though. </p>

<p>There's also nothing to hint that what caused the giant container ship in the middle of a desert or why/how the USS Statesman flat out turned into 3km of twisted metal or that Garland simply left it there <i>Instead of the nearby airport</i> so clearly Just Cause doesn't exactly cars about this kind of stuff. </p>

<p>It should be noted that, even in 1999, a cut spleen is a non-fatal injury. So it's more than possible that he's either left or is in hiding. </p>

<p>Ok for starters analysation of in game cutscenes would potentially allow Oscar to survive (his plane would DEFINITELY have parachutes on board) but his plane would be gone anyway. So it's possible he survived, but people would think he's dead after his plane lightly sprinkled farms and possibly the USS Watchdog. As for the Los Romeros plane, extensive testing with an EM-979 & a tornado has revealed something startling. It wouldn't be Oscar's plane, it's most likely Leon's. </p><p>Ok let me explain. I flew an EM-979 into a tornado from the south, at a reasonably high altitude. The plane proved itself able to climb through the Tornado & into the clouds, before landing on rough terrain. Given that Leon_Espinosa apparently went down in a Tornado, it's possible his pilot pulled the same stunt, surviving & leaving the country for his own safety. So we have a whole new problem. Did Leon Survive? </p>

<p>Notice how Oscar wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Even if the plane did escape the tornado, it still went into a Tornado. He'd fly around the cabin like a wet bag of spam, which would most likely kill him. Notice how Solis Hoy confirms he dies as well, implying there was significant evidence. I.E: a body. </p><p>Or it could be a Sarlacc Pit situation where he could've survived and gone into hiding with people thinking he's dead, including Solis Hoy. </p>

<p>Actually I have a somewhat unique idea. There's an EM-909 sitting in the bushes around Los Romeros, & the aircraft could've had time to just about escape the Tornado brought upon it. It would've Most likely taken mild damage, as otherwise they'd use Aeropuerto_Nueva_Voz. That could potentially be the aircraft used by Oscar, who'd likely have been turned into Jam or just killed by blunt force (wear your seatbelt folks). That might very well be Oscar's plane. </p>

<p>Alright. I'd limit the search to 4 provinces (Tallada, Laderas Sur, Valle Rio & Gran Batalla). Due to my Submechanophobia I'd advise someone else check the lake, but I'll start my search around Zona Tres </p>

<p>Bruh that really only applies to Submarines. Considering most ships have watertight compartments nowadays, it is possible to simply cut off the unbeached end (typically the Bow) and go back to port. And yes that has been done with the SS Suevic. However with Submarines it's... more difficult. Since Submarines fuck with the laws of hydrodynamics you can't simply put watertight compartments throughout the double hull. The result is to typically rely on a tugboat. Or if 1 tug isn't enough 2 tugs. And so on and so forth until the sub either moves or you run out of Tugboats. And then anything that can tow another boat. Or cable. And whilst the Agency seems like a group that would resort to sending a couple more tugs in from other locations because evidently they don't care about money, there's a point where even they would give up and crack out the buzz saws. </p><p>Plus in what world is about 5 tugs worth more than a cargo ship. </p>
