AR tigers

AR Tigers are collectible items in Just Cause 4. They are added by the Dare Devils of Destruction DLC.

Description

These are orange, rotating 3D holograms of a tiger projected above a circular device. Twelve of these exist, each one appearing in a challenge held by the three gangs of The Solino Underground. The player is expected to go out of their way to locate these holograms and can collect one simply by driving through it. An AR tiger remains collected even if the player restarts or abandons the challenge it was found in.

Collecting all twelve AR tigers results in:

An El Tigre, on the roof of an Illapa tower. The levitation is a minor error that only happens on this roof.

• The El Tigre being unlocked at supply drop. The El Tigre is a weaponized version of the Excorpión with a mortar, a wind cannon, and wheel spikes.
• One of the requirements needed to complete Dare Devils of Destruction to 100% being completed.
• The achievement Tiger Tamer unlocking.

Race	Location	Image
Run: Caminevado	Take the road on the left just before the 3rd time ring, which will lead you to some Black Hand target boards and a ramp. The AR tiger is just before that ramp.
Run: Nightbridge	Just before the 6th time ring, the player can drive off a ramp through a bonus ring instead of navigating the curve in the road. The AR Tiger is just behind the bonus ring's lower half. Do not drive off the ramp too fast, or you might fly above the tiger.
Run: Twisted Alley	The AR tiger is at small gas station on the right just after the 14th time ring, the checkpoint after making the big jump towards the tornado.
Run: Isla Intensa	About halfway through the race, there will be a tall ramp that leads to an elevated shortcut. An AR tiger can be found between the two sparklers that mark where to drive off in order to return to the main path. Be aware that you can fly over this entire section and miss the tiger if you are driving very fast.
Rampage: El Faro Rally	After starting, travel down the road until you reach the time ring at the intersection. Turn right and approach a building on the left that has a large ramp on both sides. Destroy the red Black Hand target in front of the building to reveal the AR tiger behind it.
Rampage: Green Estate	A short distance left of the starting line is a ramp hidden between a pair of tall makeshift wooden barriers. Enter through the left, and the AR tiger is just before the ramp.
Rampage: Petrol City	Travel through the tunnel found on the left-hand side past the starting line. Take the ramp on the right shortly after exiting the tunnel, and you should land next to another ramp that leads to a mid-air time ring with the AR tiger in its center. Jump the ramp as straight as possible at the correct speed, or you can miss the tiger.
Rampage: Godsbowl Trial	Travel straight down the road you entered from the starting line until you reach a time ring and bonus ring. Collect the time ring, then turn right, then left before the Armadillo 9M truck, and enter the concrete pipe next to it to collect it.
Survival Rampage: Coastline Crucible	Reach the town of Hermosa near the other end of the challenge zone. The AR tiger can be found in the center of the town's junkyard just past the chapel.
Survival Run: Sacred Cleanse	After entering the sandstorm, you'll eventually have to swerve around indestructible pillars. Upon reaching the second set of pillars, the AR tiger can be found on the left of the guardrail opposite a balloon target. Fortunately, the tiger glows bright enough that it can be seen even before reaching the pillars, provided you slow down to look.
Survival Run: Thunder Ride	When nearing the 3rd time ring, there will be a section where a ramp is on the left side of the road, while a platform elevated by cargo containers is on the right side; the end of that platform leads to a bonus ring with the AR tiger right before it. Reaching the tiger may be difficult, as you need to drive off the ramp at an angle to land on the platform.
Survival Run: La Ratonera Trial	Near the end of the race lies a long ramp on the left-hand side of the road that leads you through a segment of an abandoned building, with the Tiger in the center of this path. This one can be tricky to collect, because driving too slow will have you fall back on the main path; going too fast while being off-center will cause you not only to miss the tiger, but run off the building without a chance to back up.
