The AT3-X RPG is a rocket launcher in Just Cause 4.

Appearance

The AT3-X is a large rectangular launcher painted the same black color of most other Black Hand military hardware, with red lines on the side of the launcher. Within the body of the launcher are four tubes, each containing a single rocket in a configuration similar to the real-world M202 FLASH rocket launcher. The handle seems to resemble the Famas and Norinco rifles, even though this weapon is not an assault rifle.

Performance

Upon firing the weapon, 4 rockets will burst out and detonate upon impact. This makes it arguably one of the most powerful handheld weapons of Just Cause 4.

Activating Secondary Fire will deploy homing lock-on rockets.

Locations

• Complete the side mission Training: Top Brass to unlock it for supply drop.
• Can uncommonly be found in weapon crates. Most crates spawn random weapons.
• Army of Chaos recruits use this weapon in Training: Dish Destruction and another training mission.
• Sargento uses this weapon in Beachhead. Be careful: Depending on how the battle goes, he might decide to run up close to the target. That's not the way this weapon is meant to be used.

Trivia

• This weapon is the successor to the Capstone Hydra by appearance and Fire Leech by secondary fire in Just Cause 3.
• Because he's the player controlled protagonist, Rico can run and even grapple around while casually holding/aiming this weapon. In real life, this is beyond natural human capabilities.
