Aburrida is a town in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
In-game description: "A popular mayor planted palm trees along its only road to rebrand this failing desert town as a vacation spot."
It is a small town with not much going for it, other than the palm trees. The town has two junkyards, a few shops and a few homes. The town probably doesn't have more than 20 residents.
It is located right under the I-80 highway.
Location[]
At the western edge of Páramos, between Costa Sola and Cabo Marrón.
Challenges[]
- Car Stunt - Pass through the ring in a Caravana Camper.
- Speed Stunt - Pass through the ring faster than 20 km/h in any vehicle. This stunt unlocks the Prisa Calzada Van.
Trivia[]
- Aburrida is Spanish for boring. The town does indeed look quite boring save for the palm trees.
- The fact that this tiny town had a mayor means in-universe mayors exist, and likely see over multiple towns at once, since each town is so small. A loading screen does mention how every politician in elected office is employed by a company owned by Oscar Espinosa. This means the people can indeed elect people as their town mayors, but those people are in Espinosas' pocket.
- Additionally, in The Secret History of Solís, Javi mentions election results and how they are probably rigged.
- The speed stunt here is probably the slowest one in Solís. However, this is somewhat compensated by the ring being semi-high in the air. The ramp might not help.
