Aguaclara is a city in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
In-game description: "This service area is a welcome stop for commuters from Aeropuerto General Benítez and Armadillo Blindados."
It is a medium city, although smaller than cities as Vista Futura and El Molino, located in the heartland of Solís. It is located in a plain surrounded by various hills, which first decrease in a small valley in the east before rising again in a tall, steep hill. It is very isolated, having only four roads that lead to it; it's also blocked off in the north by the huge Lago Bonito.
It has a very regular structure, divided by parallel streets in various districts: two in the north and center east, full of tall apartments with a construction site, two lower ones in the west and a small suburb in the south-east, which seem to be poorer. The north-west district near the church has a small construction site with many rubbles, an internal square with a cafè and a huge parking lot, right in the center of the town. The city also has two churches, one in the center of the city and one in the very north, overlooking Lago Bonito: this one, the biggest of the two, is surrounded by a huge square with many benches, some palm trees and a Black Hand Statue in front of the lake.
While small, the city has many tall buildings, so it's population may be between 2500 and 3000 people. However, if the nearby town of Tres Esquinas was considered a suburb of it, it's population could rise up to 3500 people, if not more.
The city also has one weapon crate and a table with 5 Confetti Piñatas.
A Black Hand propaganda billboard is located here.
Life and business (in-universe analysis)[]
This city seems a modestly rich city, wealthy enough to provide most of its citizens with a home and basic services. The houses don't seem to be dirty, ruined or unpleasant, being also big enough for a small family; the city, except for the eastern section with its tall apartments, has wide roads and many squares and social spaces. It seems to have some kind of beer culture, being that it has many breweries and various advertisements to Pinguino, which seems to be the native beer of Solís.
Its main business street is at the left of the biggest church, offering various eating shops as Empanadas, Salchichones and a branch of the Cervecería restaurants. In the same street there is also a pharmacy, a branch of the Revistas y Periódicos stationery and one of the Tienda de Jardineria flower shop. Other shops include Plumos, which looks like a fashion brand, and various unnamed cafes. The only gas station in the city is in the southern suburb of the city.

- ?
Mistakes[]
All Platforms The city is marked as a Black Hand facility on the map, which is likely a developer error. There are plenty of similar errors with some other settlements like Templo del Cielo also being marked as a Black Hand facility when it is clearly a town.
{{Console unknown}} There is a car submerged in the asphalt in the southern suburb. Triggering it once with the grappler or gunfire is enough to un-glitch it.
Trivia[]
- While this is not the only settlement, this is the only city in Solís with only one challenge.
- The town of Tres Esquinas looks like it could be a suburb of this town, but that is not the case, because said town is officially a separate settlement.
- "Armadillo Blindados" mentioned in the city's description does not seem to exist, although some Just Cause 4 settlement descriptions are known to have errors. Other errors include (but are not limited to) describing a single farmhouse as a town and a town as a farmhouse.
- Aguaclara means "clear water" in Spanish. Coincidentally, Aguaclara is also a Spanish swimwear brand.
