The Armadillo 9M is a truck in Just Cause 4.
Appearance[]
It's a giant quarry truck, a type of very large dump truck that are only used at large mines and quarries.
Very unrealistically, it has a set of stairs on its side. A real truck would either have a ladder, or stairs on the front wall in a way that doesn't make the vehicle harder to drive.
When entering, Rico can say: "Ha-ha-ha! This thing is so fucking big.", or "Here I come." He may also say these things while driving.
Flipping it on its side reveals that it has independent front suspension and no rear suspension. It's correct for it to not have any rear suspension as the large soft tires absorb any impacts, but the front should not have any either.
Performance[]
Heavy and slow.
The handling has been massively improved over the Nashorn 6100. On flat ground at lower speeds it seems to be about the same, but the 9M has 4-wheel drive, allowing it to drive over steep hills.
Oddly, if the wheels are turned before starting to move, then the vehicle will begin to move diagonally and will not exceed 11 km/h.
Reverse speed is 19 km/h.
It is very durable, considering it being made from strong materials to hold heavy loads. Although this is somewhat unrealistic, it is only (in-game) a little less durable than a tank. Due to its massive size and weight, it can cause a lot of damage if not careful. This durability and large size can, of course, also be used as a weapon by the player, allowing them to easily destroy most destructible objects simply by ramming them. It can run over even tanks, should they manage to close the distance with one. Except for tanks and vehicles larger than this, any vehicles that get in the way normally explode immediately.
The soil compartment can be raised, so the truck is completely functional.

Trivia[]
- It's made by the Armadillo company.
- JC4 reuses many JC3 vehicle models. This vehicle looks identical to the Nashorn 6100 in shape, but the handling has been improved, the truck has been painted yellow and the soil compartment can now be raised.
