Bandar Gunung Belakang Patah is a settlement in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
This village is one of the many ancient towns found all over the mountains. It's one of the smallest mountain settlements with 3 old stone houses around some sort of town square. At this square, several civilians sell their food at small market stands. Some of those stands are cooking food on gas burners. A Panau Military unit, consisting of a group of soldiers and a Chepachet PVD watches over the place. There's also a small monument at the square. This settlement might be some kind of a motel for travelers.
The name means "Broken Back Mountain City" in Malay, which may refer to the mountain to the west. It is very steep and rocky, and climbing it could be very dangerous without special equipment, like Rico's. Doing so anyway could maybe cause a broken back, thereby the name.
Location[]
In the south-eastern part of the Berawan Besar Mountains geographical district, south of Kem Gunung Belakang Patah, in a high mountain pass. The mentioned location to the north, which is a military base, is located just up the cliffs.
