Bandar Lombong Besi is an industrial facility in Just Cause 2.

Description

The name means "City Iron Mine" in Malaysian, but it doesn't resemble a mine at all. There are no mines in Panau at all. It's possible that iron has been mined here in the past. Large amounts of oil are stored in a large amount of cisterns at the facility, while the natural gas is transported here by a usual gas pipeline. This facility is a part of the group of industrial settlements around the Emas Hitam Oil Refinery.

The area is divided into two parts by a paved road. Both parts are connected to each other with two Pipelines, one for Natural gas and one for oil. The control unit for the pipelines is found in the western part and is the only place that's restricted and with a Panau Military presence - consisting of only two soldiers. For that reason, the complex cannot really be called a military base.

Western part

The western part is by far larger and the center of the base, holding the industrial buildings and sabotagable items. Both soldiers and all civilians will be found here.

Eastern part

The eastern part has nothing but a few Oil Cisterns for the storage depot and holds no military presence at all. Some Collectable Items can be found on the cisterns.

Location

X:28910; Y:7850. In Pelaut Archipelago, on one of the islands in the north-east. It's the only settlement on that small island and it's easily reached by a nearby public road.

Vehicles

• Hamaya 1300 Elite Cruiser, found in the western part of the settlement. Note that it may not always spawn there.
• Civilian, military, and faction vehicles driving on the public road.
