Banjaran Berawan Besar Iota is a Communications Outpost in Just Cause 2.

Description

This Communications Outpost is basically the same as most other outposts. It has got the standard equipment, such as the Communications Station, and the wooden barrack with a Medicine cabinet and others.

This outpost lacks and kind of outward transportation, to include any helicopters or other aerial vehicles. Therefore, this base can be seen as a deathtrap in the event of being overrun. Stationed personnel at this outpost have no way out or little opportunities to escape.

Location

The communications outpost is located in the Sungai Sejuk River canyon, just 100 vertical meters above the river. It's easily accessible by a dirt road connecting from the main nearby public road. The river is very narrow at this part of the canyon.

Objectively, this is the worst possible location for any Communications Outpost in all of Panau. The outpost is incapable of eastward and westward communication and communication northward is debatable as to whether it could actually reach past the mountains due to its extremely low elevation. Unless if the sole intention for this particular communications outpost is to project in southern directions and maybe northern directions, the effectiveness of this base does not match the functionality it holds.

Additionally, this communications outpost is extremely vulnerable to raids, trespassers, and any other unauthorized individuals due to how close this station is to a public road.

Vehicles

None, but a UH-10 Chippewa shows up when you activate the Communications Station, as with every communications outpost.

When you cause heat here, there is a chance Wilforce jeeps and/or Hamaya GSY650s might come from the main road to assist the Panau Military stationed here initially.
