Be Quick or He be Dead is an Ular Boys mission in Just Cause 2.
Introduction[]
This Ular mission requires you to download vital data from an agent, called Portugese Pete. Pete is being held captive in a military base, with a PDA, which he has hidden in his rectum.
Mission briefing from the PDA map:
- "The Ular Boys associate known as Portugese Pete has been captured by the authorities. At the time he was in possession of sensitive Ular business data."
- "He is being held by the military in Kem Port Rodrigo in the southern Rajang River delta. Sri Irawan is looking for someone to locate Portugese Pete and retrieve the data before he is executed."
Walkthrough[]
Use the provided boat (Frisco Catshark S-38) and get to Kem Port Rodrigo. Pete is held in the building near the trees. Hack into the system and stay near the door (in range for the download). Panauan soldiers will be attacking you during the entire download, but they have to climb up staircases to get to Rico, so it shouldn't be too difficult to kill them.
The mission ends when the download is complete.
Trivia[]
- Completing the harbor to 100%, before the mission, does not prevent the mission from working. In fact, it makes the mission easier.
- The name of this mission might be a reference to the Iron Maiden song "Be Quick or Be Dead" from 1992.
- It can be assumed that Sri Irawan has a lot of foreign friends, like this Portugese Pete and that he was educated at Princeton University in the U.S.
- Although in the cutscene the Frisco Catshark S-38 is red, when the side mission actually starts, it is yellow. As such, this is the only time you will find a Frisco Catshark S-38 that is not red without modding the game.
- This side-mission is the only time Sri Irawan does not show up in his Chevalier Liner SB.
- If you wait before downloading the information from Portuguese Pete, he will say things that Ken Pang will say during The White Tiger.
