Betrand is stationed at the Kem Gunung Belakang Patah base, at X:22140; Y:16130. That base has two colonels; Colonel Zulkrnain is also there.

- Bertrand is the result of a Colonel-naming contest held by Eidos Interactive.
- Despite presumably moving around a lot due to his job, he can only be found at that base, probably by developer intent.
