Breaking and Entering is a Roaches faction mission in Just Cause 2.
Introduction[]
This is one of the missions where you will not get a clear reason to do it. Razak "The Razor" Razman only wants you to download some data at the featured base. It's a job for "someone with Rico's skills".
You will be provided with an Assault Rifle.
Walkthrough[]
Razak has you break into a nearby military base to retrieve data from a laptop. As you approach the base, a panicking Razak notifies you that the government troops "got wind" of your arrival and are "wiping" the hard drive. You have two minutes to find the laptop and retrieve the information.
The laptop sits in one of the domed hangar-style buildings, guarded by two goons. Once you dispatch them, be quick. More goons are coming and they'll bring MV Quartermasters.
Once you get the download, there's another delay while Razak gloats. Stay alive and throw some Grenades out the doorway until you receive credit for a job well done.
Trivia[]
- A fun thing to do, albeit with some before-hand preparation, would be to block the entrance to the hangar with a vehicle... any vehicle, whether it be the AH-33 Topachula conveniently located in front of this hanger or even an SV-1003 Raider. The enemy MV will attempt to push your vehicle away (because it's scripted to stop in front of the hanger) and the Mounted Gun operator will not fire on you. This might save you some ammunition.
- On rare occasions, if you don't destroy the Topachula before hand, some soldier will get into it and start firing at you.
