Bukit Bura is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
The base composes of an enormous concrete structure that contains and holds Guard Towers, a Communications Outpost, several bunker buildings, Gas Holders, a Pipeline and large chimneys. That last three items indicate that there might be some industrial work going on under the ground.
According to Colonel Abdul Rahmans PDA page, the base is of vast strategic importance.
This base is one of four bases in the district, being special research/fuel storage facilities. The others are Kampung Curah Dalam; Gunung Gila Pangkat and Kastelo Singa. For more about base types, see Military bases in Panau.
Oddly for its large size, there are only 3 Health Cabinets here. The base is heavily fortified.
The name means "Spittle Hill" in Malay and Indonesian (spittle means saliva).
Location[]
South of Kampung Redup, the base is located a little over 2km from the Gunung Gila Pangkat Facility. About a kilometer to the west is Banjaran Berawan Besar Iota. A kilometer and a half away, to the south-east, is Banjaran Berawan Besar Delta. 2 km to the east is the Kastelo Singa military base.
The base is located in a large valley, below a large bridge (public road) and can easily be accessed by a paved road connecting from the main public road.
