The CS44 Peacebringer is a revolver in Just Cause 3.

Description[]

It's a big revolver. It looks like a generic old revolver, one that most games would call a "44 Magnum". Some examples of these are the Colt's Single Action Army and Python.

It's listed in the "exotic" part of the Rebel drop list. This is most likely because of the age. The description from the list is: "Dish out cowboy justice by the barrel with the Peacebringer. As a wise man once said, six bullets is "more than enough to kill anything that moves."

The flash suppressor is an extremely uncommon feature for revolvers.

Performance[]

Judging by the name, it fires large ".44 Special" cartridges, which would make it quite powerful. It shares ammunition with The Little General and pistols. It can kill enemy grunts in one shot.

As a large caliber revolver, it deals more damage than most weapons but is probably the slowest firing handgun in the game.

It has a better accuracy than the CS Spectre Mark V, but is notably less stable. It has impressive damage range.

As with all single-handed weapons in JC3, it's always dual wielded.

Trivia[]

  • The name is a reference to Colt Single Action Army, a late 19th century revolver that was sometimes known as the "Peacemaker".
  • It's manufactured by the fictional company Capstone.
  • The description's final sentence is a reference to Revolver Ocelot from the Metal Gear Solid series. During his monologue in Metal Gear Solid, Ocelot, referring to his own Colt Single Action Army, states the now-classic line "Six bullets. More than enough to kill anything that moves."
  • This weapon is somewhat of a successor to the Harker 357 Sawback from JC1 and the Revolver from JC2.
  • Di Ravello's The Little General is a unique variant of the CS44 Peacebringer obtainable only during Sandbox Mode.
