Cava Geminos Est is a military base in Just Cause 3.
Description[]
This is a military controlled Bavarium mine. It's marked as a base on the map.
The in-game map description states: "The name Cava Geminos was given to the twin Bavarium mines before a third vein was discovered and Cava Geminos Est opened. The locals refer to it as "the third twin" as a wry poke at Medician military spending."
Completion[]
There are a total of 37 assets that need to be destroyed to liberate the settlement.
- 16 Transformers.
- 15 Fuel Tanks.
- 2 Circuit Breakers.
- 2 Substation Controls.
- 1 Antenna Tower.
- 1 Core Electrical Unit.
Once liberated it will unlock the Urga Fura 570 for Rebel drop.
Tactics[]
One of the easiest ways to destroy most assets is using the Fire Leech to destroy the Antenna Tower, Core Electrical Unit and the Substation Controls. However if you haven't got the Fire Leech yet, you are better off using the GE-64. There are three SAMs here.
For the transformers and the Fuel Tanks, any dual or single handed weapon will do.
Using a CS7 Thunderhawk, or a U-7 Dravec, or even a Dionysus PLDS-H to conduct airstrikes works well also across the entire base.
If all else fails, you can always hijack an armored vehicle.
Vehicles[]
- 7 x Nashorn 6100.
- Urga Hrom D.

Trivia[]
- Strangely, after liberating this settlement all of the SAMs here disappear(This is likely a glitch).
- Near this settlement toward the entry way from the road, a "Buggy Delivery" Random encounter might happen.
- It is the only Bavarium mine marked as a base that does not have an excavator, Bavarium Dump Trailer and Bavarium Refinery Stations.
