Chasca is a region in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
It is a small and a sparsely populated region in the eastern part of the desert. The region only has one unmarked town at Puesto Guardia Chasca giving the region a speculated population of less than 50 inhabitants.
The region's name likely derives from the Quechua language word "Chaska", which means "star". This most likely refers to the fallen "star" that caused the crater.
Unlike most regions, this region does not have a region strike to capture this region, meaning this region can be captured simply after capturing an adjacent region (assuming there are enough available squads).
Geography[]
The region has multiple mountains, since it borders the mountain region. The region has no lakes and rivers, other than a small patch of water in the crater of Pachakawri. Most of the region is also covered by salt.
Infrastructure[]
The region only has a few roads going through it due to the mountainous terrain. Most of the roads are small two lane roads.
Settlements and points of interest[]
- Pachakawri - Large crater.
- Puesto Guardia Chasca - Outpost right next to a town.
Trivia[]
- This region is the smallest region in the desert.
- This region is the only region in the desert that does not require a region strike to capture this region.
