The Conquistador Warship (also known as PA-31 Warship) is a vehicle in Just Cause 4.
Appearance[]
It's a small corvette, similar to the Corvette in Just Cause 3.
The front deck has an automated gun turret with a single cannon. The turret can be controlled by the driver.
The middle area of the ship is higher than the rest of the ship and holds its only enterable room. The drivers room has a control panel and a single wooden table, but no chairs. The roof here has a an antenna mast with a rotating radar and a chimney that emits smoke.
The rear of the ship is an empty platform with two containers that look like they would contain inflatable liferafts.
The mission Málaga Swipe is about raiding the Puerto Málaga naval base and ship factory to find schematics for a "PA-31 Warship". These plans are not found, so Rico is instead told to get a Conquistador Warship and get it scanned. This reveals that "PA-31" is its official name.
Performance[]
Initial forward acceleration is very slow and if the ship should be moving in reverse, it's super slow to reverse its speed. However, it's impossibly fast to slow down to a stop and reverse it's speed.
The maximum forward speed is 50 knots and reverse is 38 knots.
The ship tilts up to 45 degrees when turning.
The cannon has 300 units of ammunition.
The warship is large and well armored enough that it can survive three explosions before the fourth blows it up, making it a bit more durable than the Warchief Assault Tank and the second most durable vehicle in the game.
Locations[]
- The mission Málaga Swipe features one.
- Puerto Málaga has one in Black Hand colors, even after the base is taken over by the Army of Chaos.
- Puerto Espada has two in Black Hand colors, even after the base is taken over by the Army of Chaos.
- Unlocked at the supply drop by taking over Recalada.
- Some are seen in Extermination, firing infinite turret rounds into the dome, hoping to hit a demon and not their troops.
- Appear during high heat in the water.
Trivia[]
- This is the successor to the Corvette from Just Cause 3.
- The turret car rotate 360 degrees and shoot backwards. When that's done, the projectile will safely clip through the ship and function as normal on the other side.
