El Lucero is a town in Just Cause 4.

Description[]

In-game description: "This large town is home to many middle-class solinos who commute to work at Puerto Espada."

It is a large town, on the coast of Distrito Capital, located just down the road from Puerto Espada.

The town seems to be one of the most populated in the region, having a few high-rise apartment buildings, giving the town a speculated population of nearly 1000 inhabitants.

The town also has a small marina and a church.

Lighthouse next to the town[]

Forzudo Armored Van (ramming a Dia de Muertos skull)

Forzudo Armored Van ramming a Dia de Muertos skull at the lighthouse. The USS Watchdog is visible in the background.

Near the settlement is a lighthouse with a few items of interest:

  • It has a good view of the nearby USS Watchdog (Danger Rising DLC).
  • This is the only place where a Emsavion News Heli is seen doing its job. If the game has the Danger Rising DLC, the helicopter keeps flying near the lighthouse and looking at the submarine.
  • One of the Avalanche Studios Deck Chairs is between the 2 houses near the lighthouse.
  • Unless startled by the player, there is a line of civilians waiting at the lighthouse door. They keep standing in the same poses and using the same speech lines as those civilians who can normally be seen in line to a toilet (at some beaches at cities/towns). This is funny because there is either a toilet in the lighthouse, or they just can't wait to see the submarine a little better. These civilians are present regardless of the Danger Rising DLC.
  • One of the Dia de Muertos is in front of the lighthouse.

Location[]

On the east coast of Distrito Capital, near Puerto Espada.

Trivia[]

  • The town of Costa Consuelo mentions this town in its description, stating the following: "A short drive from wealthier El Lucero, this is where low-income workers from Puerto Espada make their homes".
  • This town's name in Spanish means "The Star".
