El Qocha is a settlement in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
Quote from the map icon: "The locals here consider the town to be part of the lake, and the lake to be part of the town."
The settlements consists of 4 peasant houses, an Espetrol station, a diner, an outdoor eating area with people grilling meat and a dock.
Several types of animals can be seen wondering around the settlement.
There are a number of vehicles here, some even parked into bushes. The diner has an outdoor eating area, but comically 3 vehicles are parked between the tables and chairs. Maybe this is some kind of a motoring enthusiast eating area, similar to how some countries have animal cafes, where animals are present to be fondled while eating?
There are 3 patches of what seems to be a thin layer of snow on the beach, at the northern side of the settlement. This might be some type of minor easter egg, or map design error.
There is also a destructable wooden bridge crossing the lake.
Location[]
This lake (with filthy brown water) is located directly north of Meteolab. The settlement is located between the lake and a road.
Completion[]
- Speed Stunt - Pass through the ring faster than 75 km/h in any vehicle.
- Wingsuit Stunt - Wingsuit through all rings in less than 12 seconds.
Vehicles[]
- Kerner Brise 42 at a dock. It's unusual as to why it's here because it is a lake. Usually a vessel of this design should be on the open seas.
- 2x Prisa Chapoteo at a dock.
- Ranchero Truck, parked near the dock.
- 2x Prisa Tía Moped:
- Parked next to the truck.
- Hidden in the bushes, across the road from the truck.
- 2x Prisa X-2 Bike, parked at the diner, between the tables and chairs.
- Prisa Fresca, parked at the diner, between the tables and chairs.
- Cúmbila Sedan with the hood up, parked in front of a garage at the Espetrol station.
- 2-4 random vehicles, parked at the Espetrol station.
- Civilian, Black Hand and Army of Chaos vehicles can drive by on the road.
- The lake has normal water traffic with boats.
Trivia[]
- Its name translates to "The Lagoon" (derived from the Quechua word "qucha", which means "lake") in reference to the small lake near the town.
