Ensueño is a settlement in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
In-game description: "Built around an oasis, a popular tourist destination. The waterside cottages boast the highest property value in the desert."
It's a small town surrounding a oasis in the middle of the desert. It is surrounded by lots of sand dunes and mountains and it's an ideal place for the Vagabundo Buggy... and apparently also the Alpinista Snowmobile. For some reason, there is a lot of out-of-place jungle vegetation in and around the settlement, probably artificially planted as decoration.
There is a Black Hand Statue in the middle of the lake. This was added in a patch.
One side of the town consists of several one-story buildings with some civilian vehicles and shops. The other side consists of more shops, along with a church and a small garage-like building that has a parked Ranchero Truck filled with fuel barrels, with some more barrels surrounding the garage.
Location[]
In the desert, at the center of Arena, surrounded by lots of sand dunes and mountains.
It's very visible on the map but it's north of Cañón del Viento and south of La Cuenca.
Vehicles[]
- Civilian, Black Hand, and Army of Chaos traffic on the roads and in the air. Should the latter two meet, there will be fighting.
- Falconer AA Tank during the mission here.
- Firebrand Scout Chopper during the mission here.
- Cavalry Armored Truck during the mission here.
- A rare version of the Vagabundo Buggy is parked somewhere next to a house. This one uniquely does not have a name.
- None of the below are guaranteed to spawn, but they seem to be the likeliest civilian vehicles to be parked at random spots.
Completion[]
- Speed Stunt - Pass through the ring faster than 85 km/h. Completing this stunt unlocks the Prisa Tía Moped in supply drop.
Trivia[]
- This village is likely inspired by Huacachina, a small village in the sand dunes of Peru, as they are very similar in appearance. See the image in the gallery.
- "Ensueño" means "dream" in Spanish.
- This village is shown in multiple early gameplay videos, because it is a part of the Just Cause 4 Demo.
