The Extractor Drone is a Sabotage destructible object in Just Cause 3.
Description[]
It's one of the drones belonging to the eDEN Corporation.
Extractor drones have no combat capabilities and are safe to approach. Their only purpose is Bavarium mining, which they do with a large pneumatic drill. Despite having two jet engines, they're never seen flying.
Destructability[]
They're easy to destroy with the Grappler, by tearing off one of the jet engines. Otherwise it takes heavy weapons, like a rocket launcher, or Vehicle mounted weapons.
A torn off engine can fly a bit further away, but other than that you don't have to go beyond 10 meters to be completely safe from the explosion.
Locations[]
They are added to the game as a part of the Sky Fortress DLC.
They are relatively rare, compared with the common armed drones.
- Two unnamed locations in the mission Suit Up. Both locations have 3 of them, making a total of 6.
- eDEN Airship.
- 1 in the Bow Section.
- 5 in the Stern Section.
- eDEN Extraction Site Alpha. There are 6 drones there.
- eDEN Extraction Site Bravo. 3 drones here.
