The F-33 DragonFly Jet Fighter is a vehicle in Just Cause 2.

Appearance[]

This vehicle is a sleek, agile fighter jet with large wheels. The Dragonfly takes the place of the Rage-Johnston F6 Comet from Just Cause as the Agency jet fighter. It seems to resemble an F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-5 Freedom Fighter, but with dual tail fins and a rather strange looking cockpit.

Like all other Agency vehicles, it can only be seen in black.

Performance[]

Its mounted armament is somewhere between that of the Si-47 Leopard and G9 Eclipse, with four miniguns and dual rocket pods mounted under the wings. As with all other DLC, this vehicle is fully upgraded to 6 stars by default.

Being the most maneuverable and agile plane in the game, the F-33 DragonFly Jet Fighter is able to pull off aileron rolls with ease. The top speed of the aircraft is about 413.56 km/h (256.97 MPH), making it the fastest plane in the game. Click to see how it was tested (link to YouTube).

How to obtain[]

This aircraft is a part of the "Black Market Aerial Pack" downloadable content. After the transaction is complete, Rico can only obtain this vehicle through purchasing for $100,000 from the Black Market. This vehicle is fully upgraded to 6 stars by default.

Trivia[]

  • Despite the name, this vehicle would be more of an attack aircraft than a jet fighter, considering this vehicle is only armed with rocket pods and miniguns.
  • The wheels of the Aeroliner 474 were reused for this vehicle.
  • This vehicle could be a successor to the Agency Rage-Johnston F6 Comet from Just Cause (1). Both are modern high-end fighters, and neither of them appear in normal gameplay.
    • The Agency F6 Comet is seen in two missions and is only usable in one of them. The F-33 meanwhile is DLC exclusive and can only be purchased at the Black Market.
    • While it is not a definitive successor in Just Cause 4, the X700 Flycatcher is something of a successor to this vehicle in that game as an Agency aircraft and DLC-exclusive fighter jet.
  • This vehicle is frequently called a "hack" in Just Cause 2 Multiplayer due to how effective its armament is.
  • This vehicle is unique in the sense that no other vehicle has 4 miniguns (or machine guns) in any other game.
    • The Carmen Albatross fighter has 6 machine guns in the next game, but that is still not 4.
