The Fengding EC2 Lift is a military truck in Just Cause 2.

Description

It's a variant of the Fengding EC14FD2 which has a hydraulic crane mounted behind the cabin. The crane cannot actually be used by the player.

The crane mechanism is very unrealistic. The hydraulic cylinders that are responsible for lifting it are too small and there are too many cylinders for the extension function. The crane might also need one more hinge to allow a proper transport position.

Normally, a truck-mounted crane would be folded down for transport, so they wouldn't prevent passing under a bridge.

It can only be seen in desert and jungle camouflage.

It's missing hydraulic stabilizing legs to support the crane. Not using stabilizing outriggers could significantly tilt the vehicle to one side when lifting anything heavy.

Like its non-crane counterpart, it's made by the fictional Fengding company.

Performance

Same as the Fengding EC14FD2. However, with the added crane, you cannot drive under things like low bridges and overpasses.

There are only 2 versions of it. Both owned by the military.

Forest camouflage:

Trivia

• The crane used on this vehicle is also used on the Winstons Amen 69 "Minerva" which is seen in the Roaches Faction Mission River Runs Red.
• The one at Tanah Lebar is the only one that is not desert camo. All other locations where it spawns are geographically located in the Lautan Lama Desert.
• As the first crane truck in the Just Cause game series, it's the predecessor to the Armadillo Crane Truck - a large functional crane truck.
