Description[]
These devices are parts of the electricity distribution system and they're used to turn high voltage into lower voltage, or the other way around. Like Fuel Tanks, they come in vertical and horizontal styles.
The Core Electrical Unit is also a transformer, but this article is about the smaller ones that are called "transformer".
Destructibility[]
They can be destroyed by small arms fire, but this can waste ammunition and time. The fastest way to do it is to use the Grappler to pull on the electrical box sticking out from the back. Doing so will explode the generator "incredibly quickly". Explosive weapons will make short work of them, and vehicle mounted weapons/GE-64 excel at doing so. Another way is to pull the doors off or open and then shoot at the components inside. That should only take a few shots.
