Rampage: Petrol City is a mission in Just Cause 4.

Introduction

Quote from the map marker: "Bring the power back to Promesas. All comers welcome to the Petrol City Rally. Hosted by the Gearheads."

The mission trigger is at a motor vehicle repair shop that seems to belong to the Gearheads. There's several gangsters hanging out outside and 2 unarmed cars: Huaso Truck (with out wheels) and a Python Offroader.

Walkthrough

There are 4 vehicles provided. Choose one that seems OK:

• Excorpión Model - Rusted musclecar with dual shotguns on the hood.
• Python Offroader (version of the Warrior Offroader) with dual SMGs on the hood and a rocket launcher on the rear.
• Huaso Truck (version of the Pasofino Pickup) with dual shotguns on the hood and a small jet engine in the back.
• Overgust Monster (version of the Chupacabra monster truck) with a wind cannon under the hood and a "turbo jump" upgrade.

The Overgust Monster is a bad option here (or in any of the events), because it oversteers a lot and the wind cannon is ineffective against the competing/enemy vehicles. The easiest option is the Python Offroader.

This event is not a race. The idea is to simply gather points for as long as the time lasts.

• Points can be gained by destroying plywood targets with Black Hand soldiers painted on them. These may be either green, yellow, or red.
• More points can be gained by destroying enemy vehicles.

More time can be gained by driving through the rings of fire. Some of these can only be accessed by jumping over a nearby ramp.

Rewards

For 250000 points:

• "B rank".
• Huaso Truck with the following upgrades:
  • "Dual shotguns".
  • "Nitros" (small jet engine on the back).
  • "Tire reinflation mechanism".

For 340000 points:

• "A rank".
• "Increased shotgun spread".
• "Increased nitros burn time".

For 430000 points:

• "Increased damage per shotgun slug".
• "Reduced nitros recharge time".
• "Wheel spikes".

Trivia

• One of the races in Just Cause is called "Motor City".
