The UVK-13 is a rocket launcher in Just Cause 3.

Description

It closely resembles the Soviet RPG-7, but bigger. It also has grips installed the opposite way.

The Rebel drop description states: "The reloadable UVK-13 rocket launcher isn't just an anti-tank weapon; it's an anti-everything weapon!"

Performance

The UVK-13 is a balanced rocket launcher, with a high projectile velocity to ensure it can take out moving targets with better accuracy, and is also great against armored vehicles, as its warhead is equivalent to one "standard" explosion and can destroy them out fairly quickly.

NPCs using the UVK-13 have an additional green laser to indicate their target, which disappears after firing. If they are approached by hostiles, they will defend themselves with the U-55S Pozhar.

Locations

• Randomly spawns inside cabinets at several bases and settlements.
• Rico starts with it during Welcome Home, but it is lost when he falls as the Urga U17 Akrobat evades SAMs. Another can be found again in the cave under the shelters. If it is not picked up, Rico will finish Welcome Home without a special weapon.
  • While on the plane, it has infinite ammunition. The new one obtainable later on functions normally.
• Unlocked for Rebel drop after liberating Vigilator Sud.
• Strangely, some D.R.M. elites in the Burgoletto police station wield this weapon.
• Used by Medici Military RPG operators in military bases in Medici.
• Used by Black Hand RPG operators on Insula Lacrima. (Mech Land Assault DLC exclusive)
• Rebellion RPG operators can only be seen in missions.
  • Two dead rebels can be found near one of this weapon at the bottom of the cave in Welcome Home. It is very likely one of them held this.
  • A Terrible Reaction.
  • Abandon Ship.
  • The Watcher on The Wall.
  • Possibly Missile Cowboy, Tangled Up In Blue, and The Shatterer of Worlds.

Trivia

• In the earliest trailers and promotional materials, the rocket appeared to be more brown.
• It was once known as "UVK 13" (without the dash). That name can now be considered Cut game content from Just Cause 3.
• There are instructions on how to operate the weapon inscribed on the wood barrel.
• Judging by its name, it is made by the fictional Urga Company.
