Fuel tanks in Solís are Sabotage Destructible Objects in Just Cause 4.
For any other fuel tanks, see Fuel Tanks (disambiguation).
Description[]
They are cylindrical fuel tanks with red stripes on them. There are two versions: "Vertical Tank" and "Horizontal Tank". The vertical tanks have coned bases and are mounted on red and white stands. However, the horizontal tanks are mounted on much shorter stands and have two caps (one on each end) When they are shot a large flaming leak will appear and the tank will shoot off in the opposite direction and eventually destroy itself. These tanks are very similar to their predecessors in Just Cause 3, and are always found at depots.
Destructibility[]
Most of the time you can just grapple them together and wait for them to blow. The tanks don't have a lot of "health", and a few rounds from any gun will blow it up. Most explosive weapons can destroy it in one hit. Shooting the caps on the end of a horizontal tank will make it fly like a horizontal rocket, before exploding. Removing the four supports on the vertical tank and then shooting the pipe will cause it to fly away, too.
The quickest and least ammo consuming way to destroy it is to shoot the box next to the tank (this will work on both kinds). The tank will explode shortly after the box is destroyed.
