Gran Central is a military base in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
In-game description: "This highly automated train station serves as the central hub for shipping goods throughout the industrialized desert of Solís."
This base is a large train station and repair facility. It also seems to have a very small salt mine. The main building is a large bunker that seems more like a hollowed mountain. It contains a loading area and 4 big generators that "hold the doors shut" and which must be blown up during the mission here.
The base has several partly disassembled locomotives and train cars, some of which are not even on rails.
This is the only train repair and service base in the known Just Cause Universe.
The base is one of those that needs to be captured in order to unlock Operation Illapa.
There are two big automated turrets that seem to remain in Black Hand control even after the area is captured, so they'll start blowing up nearby Army of Chaos soldiers as soon as the player is near enough that everything spawns.
Strangely, this base has a big pile of some kind of white material next to a truck loading conveyor system. It may just be gravel, but it has also been speculated to be salt, as seen at the salt refinery.
Completion[]
- Speed Stunt - Pass through the ring faster than 90 km/h in any vehicle. This unlocks the Flatbed Trailer Truck in supply drop.
- Surveillance Airship.
- Wingsuit Stunt - Wingsuit through all rings in less than 10 seconds.
Additionally, there is a Solís Pro Tour stunt here that requires Rico to pass through the ring in a 2019 Vistosa Supercar to complete it.
Location[]
Inland in the northern part of Arena.

Trivia[]
- Shockingly, "Gran Central" is Spanish for "Grand Central". This may be a reference to the actual (underground) train station of the same name in New York.
- As a bit of development oversight, the flatcars (or locomotive frames?) here are not solid.
