Guardia Grande Pastura II is a military outpost in Just Cause 3.

Description[]

This outpost is a small military airport and, like Guardia Litore Torto II, seems to be a secondary air force base. It is identical in appearance to the former except for the fact it only has one runway.

The in-game map description states: "Medici's skies are among the safest in the world, due in no small part to airfields like Guardia Grande Pastura II, which launches fighter jets, paratrooper carriers, and bombers to assist in frequent uprisings throughout Grande Pastura."

The airbase does have a couple of hangars to service aircraft, but very little accommodations for the aircraft crews and service personnel. Also, despite its importance, the outpost is relatively defenseless aside from a couple of SAMs located off the road to the outpost.

Location[]

The outpost is on top of a cliff at center of Grande Pastura province in the Insula Striate region. One should be cautious when using the runway, as the eastern end finishes immediately into a cliff face. It overlooks the abandoned industrial building in the region as well as some nearby ruins.

Surrounding the road to the location are two smaller paths with SAMs at the end of them.

Trivia[]

  • The in-game map description also mentions "paratrooper carriers", but the U41 Ptakojester which fills this role in-game doesn't actually spawn at any airport.
    • The description also suggests there may be uprisings in Grande Pastura, when in reality, its supposed that no civilians live north of the wall, and thus no rebels either.
