Types[]

There are a variety of helicopters in Just Cause 3, with most of them belonging to Medici Military.

CS Comet Transport helicopter, used in combat to carry snipers and to transport troops. Unarmed. Parked in military bases and patrolling above bases.
Jc3 CS Comet
CS Navajo Medium attack helicopter. Armed with light and heavy missiles. Can be found on patrol and parked at military bases. May be called in from heat level of 3 to 5.
JC3 CS Navajo Medici Heli
Eubus Eagle Civilian helicopter. Unarmed. Can only be found parked in towns and random landing pads around the islands.
Jc3 Eubus Eagle
News Chopper Civilian helicopter. Supposedly used to broadcast news, though never seen used. Unarmed.
Jc3 News Chopper
Urga Hrom D Large attack helicopter. Armed with dual miniguns and rockets. Can be found parked and on patrol in military bases. Medici Military Commandantes may use these.
Mountain at N 40 46.400 E 5 46.700 (tiny outpost)
Urga Mstitel Attack helicopter with a Bavarium shield, rendering it immune to attack while the shield is active. Armed with dual miniguns and rockets. Commandantes may use these and it's parked at 2 oil rigs.
Medici Military Urga Mstitel Shields Up
Golden Urga Mstitel Same thing as above, but in a golden paint scheme. Armed with dual miniguns and rockets. This helicopter may be reserved for high ranking members of the Medici Military.
Golden Urga Mstitel Front Quarter
Urga Postolka Small attack helicopter. Armed with dual miniguns. Parked in military settlements and may be called at heat level 3 to 5.

Urga Racek Small amphibious helicopter equipped with pontoons. Likely a reconnaissance and/or search and rescue helicopter. Unarmed. Parked at military bases.

Trivia[]

  • When Rico speaks in a helicopter, he sounds like he's speaking into a PA system in the helicopter. The same thing happens with planes and jets. It also happens in JC4.
    • He is the only one that uses this, as the military communicates by radio.
