Description[]
The highest point above sea level is located in the province of Qachas, near the center of the map, on top of the tower at Illapa. It is said to be 2461m above sea level in a developer video.
The highest non-artificial point on Solís Is located behind the Illapa tower on a large mountain.
Achievement[]
Reaching the top of the mountain behind the tower will give you the "Where I Belong" achievement. This is referencing the fact that Rico uses grapplers, wingsuits and parachutes that are used at altitude so he 'belongs' up high. This is similar to previous achievements in the series.
Trivia[]
- This is the second highest point in the Just Cause Game Series to date.
- It makes very little sense that a mountain of this type would form in Solís, considering Isla De Los Annilos resembles a volcanic caldera. There's a chance it could be an eroded volcanic plug which went extinct long ago.
