The Huerta PA51 Aztek is an armed patrol helicopter in Just Cause (1).

Appearance

It's a modern civilian helicopter. It has 4 seats, but you can never have a passenger. It has a ducted fan-type rear propeller.

It resembles the real Augusta A109 and Aerospatiale AS365 Dauphin.

It can't shoot higher than itself, but its horizontal angle of fire is excellent. It can almost shoot behind itself.

Trivia

• This helicopter was named after the Aztec, a people who lived in central America until about 500 years ago.
• The game files have an additional unused model of an ambulance version, which can not be spawned into the game, because it's programmed differently and makes the game crash. That's most likely the result of it having been made for an earlier version of the game.
• According to the text that appears on screen when entering the vehicle, the vehicle is named "Huerta PA51 Aztek", but as has been discovered by analizing game files (something that wasn't possible with out recent significant advances in Modifying (JC1)), that it's actually suppose to be called "Huerta PAS1 Aztek". The font used by the game just has a deformed S with a corner.
• The game files still contain a beta ambulance version of this helicopter. Unlike a few other beta vehicles found in the files, this vehicle is not functional and would require more extensive modifying to make it work. The vehicle model has big red crosses and an "AMBULANCIA" sign on both sides. The model doesn't have any associated color(s), but the MacNamara Emergency III ambulance has a combination of white and red.
