JC4 DLC Isla Santuario (first promotional picture of the island)
Region in Solís
Biome/climate Desert
Location in country Center of the west coast

Isla Santuario is a region in Just Cause 4. It is added in the Daredevils of Destruction DLC.

Description[]

It is exclusive to those who have bought the Daredevils DLC. Otherwise, this island won't exist.

It's a very hilly desert island, that's been covered with racetracks and multiple faction bases.

There's a port on the west coast and multiple other industrial-looking faction bases inland.

History[]

This is explained in two loading screens and in the mission The Solino Underground.

The Black Hand wanted to turn the whole island into a large base, but "shifting sands resulted in several costly accidents", so that project was abandoned. Next, it was chosen as a location for a possible sandstorm core by Miguel Rodriguez and Lanza Morales. However, they ended up choosing what is now Zona Uno instead. After that the island and the incomplete Black Hand facilities were abandoned. Eventually, the gangs of Solís moved onto the island and commandeered the equipment left by the Black Hand.

One of the loading screens state "Isla Santuario was a prospective site for the Sandstorm Core before the project was moved to Zona Uno."

Settlements and points of interest[]

  • Los Artistas HQ.
  • Gearheads HQ - This one is at the port.
  • Cargo port on the western coast.
  • Meeting house - This is where the 3 gang bosses and Rico meet during the mission The Solino Underground. It's one of the buildings at the highest part of the island.
  • A few more buildings of unknown purpose.

  • A racetrack around the southern area of the island. It's used in the last 4 missions for the gangs.
