The Just Cause 4 demo is the incomplete version of the game in which some of the pre-release gameplay demonstrations were made.

Does it exist?[]
Yes, but there is no such thing that you can download and play. This article is mainly here to warn people from downloading any potentially dangerous software that is claimed to be a demo for the game (such as computer viruses).
Prior to JC4 release, some better known gaming YouTubers were given the opportunity to play an incomplete version of the game. This incomplete version likely had only a few settlements in it, because all pre-release videos are played in the same few settlements and their surrounding areas. Some youtubers revealed that people from Square Enix visited them at their house and all the gaming was done on a PC that they brought with them. Also, one guy mentioned that he was allowed to fly over the mountains, but not allowed to land on snow. That was either to avoid spoilers, or because the area may have been incomplete somehow.
At least one video (see below) shows the pause menu and the game modes available on it. These include:
- Resume game.
- Gamescom: Oasis town.
- Gamescom: El Abismo.
- Gamescom: Windwalker: Stormchaser.
- Gamescom: Windwalker: Airport.
- Gamescom: Meteo lab.
- Options.
- DLC.
- Return to main menu.
Some of those can be recognized as loading the areas of Ensueno, El Abismo and Meteolab, while others load sections of the mission Operation Windwalker. These locations and mission sections were featured in many pre-launch promotional videos.
Danger Rising version[]

Another press demo version was seen in a promotional pre-launch video for the Danger Rising DLC. This version seems to be taking place in a complete version of the game and includes all DLC. It has a different more detailed options list that can be triggered at the top left corner of the screen.
Trivia[]
- The Just Cause 3 Demo is a similarly unreleased game version that limited the pre-release gameplays to Insula Fonte.
