What's wrong with my edit? You can reword it to sound like an adult wrote it, but why'd you delete it? We use American English no? Anonymous1234abc (talk) 00:09, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
Most pages are in american because most editors are more used to that. Ideally that shouldn't matter. I'm not a native english speaker and it seems weird to me that possible new non-natively english-speaking editors might be penalized for using the wrong "dialect".
Vaguely relevant story: Something like half of the pages were in english when I joined. GMRE (talk) 16:30, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
You're not native?
I had no idea.
Also, how come only half the pages were in English? On the main page, there are links to other practically abandoned Just Cause Wikis in other languages. The *main* one one we use should be all English. Anonymous1234abc (talk) 01:41, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
Oh. You misunderstood. I meant that half of the pages were noticeably in the english english, while the other half were either in american, or just had some terrible engrish. GMRE (talk) 17:12, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
Ooooooooh. Got it. I do my best to fix pages with terrible English, but a non-native kid who goes to an international school can't do much. Anonymous1234abc (talk) 00:31, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
