Kampung Gunung Merah is a small desert village in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
This is a pretty small village, located at a crossroad in the southern part of the Lautan Lama Desert, north-north east of the Desert Peak.
Most of the houses in the village are old sandstone buildings. The architecture seems to be, just like in many other villages in the area, inspired by real-life towns in the middle-east. Panau Military presence is about average, with a usual Checkpoint with a Chepachet PVD.
The name means "Red Mountain Village" in both Malay and Indonesian. Gunung Merah, or Red Mountain, is the local name of the nearby Desert Peak.
