Kampung Kala Merah is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
The name means "Red Scorpion Village" in Malaysian and Indonesian, which is odd, because it's really a decent-sized, over-crowded communications base.
Two miniguns are found within one of the entrances, as with a majority of the military bases in Panau.
The challenge "Rajang Highway" is just to the northeast.
Two of the soldiers here have a Sniper Rifle. One of them is on the water tower and the other is in a Guard Tower at the opposite corner of the base. One soldier has a Grenade Launcher. He is in the guard tower next to the radars.

Location[]
The base lies within the Ramai Rakyat Islands influential territory, but it is very much a part of the Lautan Lama Desert. It's on the edge of a steep cliff.
To the north is Kem Jurang Gurun, to the southwest is Pekan Keris Perak, to the southeast is the Rajang Temple and to the northwest are Sungai Remaja and Kampung Nur Cahaya.
