Kampung Kayu Keras is a large village in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
Kampung Kayu Keras, or "Wood Village Drive" (Malay), is built along the sides of a long stretch of paved road. The southern part seems to be the wealthier one, consisting of several two-storied wooden houses, an expansive Market, a Water Tower and several possibly multi-purpose pavilions. The northern part is a little separate and has several slum shacks strewn along the road.
The oppressive Panau Military controls the village, at both ends of the village a Checkpoint has been erected across the road. The village even has a Pandak "Baby" Panay Statue, located at the southern end of the village.
Location[]
This village is located slightly east of Kuala Cherah; south of Kepulauan Selatan Iota; north-east of Telok Berlian and Kepulauan Selatan Kappa and south-west of Bandar Arang Batu Besar.
About a kilometer to the east, on an island, are two Faction Items: a Black Box (for the Reapers) and a Skull (for the Ular Boys).
