Kem Gunung Kudus is a military base in Just Cause 2.

Description

The base is a Communications Base, a common type of base in the district.

The settlement is located on top of a high cliff, which rises at least 300 m over the pists in the Gunung Hotel Ski Resort below. The top of the resort can actually be seen from here. The Communications Mast at the base can also be spotted from below.

The base is equipped with things like concrete Guard Towers, bunker buildings, a Communications Outpost, hangars, Radar bunkers and a Communications Mast. There's also, as standard at Communications bases, a SAM here, so be careful when attacking from the air. Soldiers with Rocket Launchers and Sniper Rifles are stationed here, usually at the Radar bunkers and in the Guard Towers. Two Miniguns are found at the access way to the Communications Outpost.

The name means "Holy Mountain Camp" in Malay and Indonesian. Gunung Kudus, or the Holy Mountain, is very nearby and is one of the highest mountains in Panau.

Location

This military base is located slightly north-east from Bandar Kayu Manis. There's access via a road and helicopter landing pad.
