Kem Jalan Gurun is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
This is a fairly small Panau Military base, with only wire fencing to protect it. Judging from the fuel depots and the large metal hangars - as contrasted to the other less sophisticated wooden buildings - it is possible that this base is some sort of vehicle repair/storage facility, a small supply depot, or maybe just a low priority camp. Oddly there are civilian workers transporting goods to the hangars.
One soldier at a guard tower and another one on the water tower have sniper rifles. This is rare, because any military base in Panau usually only has one sniper atop a water tower.
At least one medicine cabinet can be found here. The name means "Desert Road Camp" in Malay.
This is one of the few bases where civilian vehicles can spawn on the road inside the base as part of a bug. A shipping container blocks the road, so they are likely to crash into it on their way out. If they are heading further into the base, they may crash into the hangars.
This base is one of the few locations that spawns a Fengding EC2 Lift.

The camp lies next to a T-junction on a road in eastern Lautan Lama Desert. It is about half a kilometer east of the Kampung Tokong Purba village. Since the base is located very close to a public road, firefights may break out between faction members and the Panau Military soldiers at the base.

- Random civilian, faction, and military "road AI" vehicles including the Marten Storm III and II, Dalton N90, Maddox FVA 45, Hamaya GSY650, Wilforce jeeps, Shimuzu PI Service, MV jeeps, and Chepachet PVD can spawn inside the base as part of a bug. When faction vehicles spawn inside the base, this base turns into a battleground. Faction and military road vehicles could also come in through the main gate, as there is a public road not far from this base.
