Kem Jalan Padang Tembak is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
This military base uses the standard forest camp layout with wooden buildings, steel hangars and a chain-link fence around it, although this base also has some notable differences from a regular camp, such as two dual helipads. There is a small dirt road leading from a main road to the north, but this is not defended like some other similar camps' entrances are. The absence of SAM sites at the base make it an easy target from the air (even if the SAMs at a nearby base, Kem Hang Johan, may be in action, the missiles don't reach here). There are lots of containers, Small Destructibles, and other rubble lying around this base.
For a fairly large base with much stuff, this base complements with an unusually huge number of soldiers here. If one is attacking by helicopter, be very wary for a swarm of soldiers, as it can take down the helicopter very quickly. There are a lot of Assault Rifle and Machine Gun wielders at this base, so be mindful of your surroundings.
Unlike most bases of this type, where there is usually one minigun at the main entrance, there are three miniguns here, with two in the towers at the front and back. This might make this base some kind of heavily guarded storage facility.
The name means "Rifle Range Road Camp" in Malaysian.

It is in the south of the Selatan Archipelago, on a hill that looks south towards the Kem Jalan Padang Luas military base. The nearby road leads west towards Hutan Besar military base, and east to the Selatan Route vehicle Race.
